Why can my PG&E bill stay high even with solar?
Timing matters. A home may still buy grid power after solar production falls, especially during the 4-9 pm peak period.
Would a battery help my evening use or true-up?
It can shift some daytime solar into the evening, but the fit depends on your usage, rate plan, existing system, battery size and settings.
Is solar plus storage actually right for this home?
That answer should come from the bill, the roof, the home's energy use, moving plans and the agreement - not a generic savings claim.
